[s-cars] AAN oil filter?

Is it safe to assume this oil filter is OK for use on all type 44's?
Including MC and 3B engines?  Maybe OK for >all< Audi 5 cylinder engines?

I have not bought any of the aftermarket filters in a long while,
since adding several filters to an order for genuine Audi parts was
more convenient and similar in price since the shipping was already
paid.
