Hello Stephen:

You *can* get to the aux rad hoses from underneath (may have to remove  
some shields?), and yes, is a bit painful.

The good thing is (once you figure it out, and have done it once) that  
the front bumper is relatively easy to take off. Makes front work a  
lot easier.    Time belt is almost 'easy' with the front of the car  
out the way!  :-)
