Thank you, and yeah, same readings here, and again, on two different Instrument Clusters. All my brother's '91 20v's (4), reportedly did same. (FWIIW, they have since moved-on to Allroads, A6, etc., but not too many years ago between the three of us we had (3) Avants as EDCs, when, somewhere under 75, maybe less(??) existed in this country.
Back to the Oil Temp Sender, agree that conclusion is that it IS "separate", though still wondering where I read something suggesting a tie to the Oil Pressure Warning System.
Still looking for some low mileage CATS!
