[A4] Changing Timing Belt / Brake pads at 80,000 miles

I just had my 00 A4 done, but not by the dealer, did the plugs myself, and
paid a well known and regarded mechanic $600 to do water pump and timing
belt. Car runs a bit smoother, I meant to ask what the belt looked like,
but didn¹t get a chance. My dealer charges 1300+ for the same.
