My feelings exactly. IMO Michelin is the Sony of the tyre world. It 
thrives on the hype created by themselves through the expensive and 
aggressive propaganda campaign in the media.

I personally have not once ridden on Michelins (or listened to a Sony) 
that I didn't find to be mediocre at best. Sure they have invented the 
radial tyre at the dawn of days but it now looks like they are resting 
on their laurels.
