[A4] coolant temp gauge broken

Hi Nancy,

I second the temp sender failure, I've had it replaced once on my 2.7t, same sender I believe.  I don't think it's related to your service, unless they took that sender off and didn't put it back on properly or something.

The LED display failure is completely seperate from the service.  It's a relatively common failure, I've had it on my ex-A4, but my 2 buddies' A4 and my S4 haven't had a problem yet.  The dealer's solution is to replace the entire instrument cluster.  It's $$$ hopefully you're still have warranty on you car.  I suppose you can try to repair it but I don't think anyone has actually done it.
