"fifth gear" on TV *raved* about x-drive and called the X3 the
best handling in its class. they loved it.

it's not so bad, but yes, C&D panned the ride. it's no A4. i will
need a longer drive in it for sure. it didn't feel too bad though, for it's
clearance and height.

in my case, i need the rated towing capacity. i wish someone could
tell me what they are rated to tow in europe, because i bet they are. i don't
mind going out of US-spec as long as the car is capable. i need the clearance
for snow and tearing around dirt roads for camping or raves.

i agree 100% - the X3 interior bites. some of the tech turns me on,
like the adaptive steering, headlights, heated wheel. and the dealer gives
free carwashes whenever you stop by.

well, it's on a car frame, not a truck. big distinction in my book.
in the end i don't think it screws up their image anyway.
