[A4] On-line parts stores?

Funny you bring this up. I just encountered this need with my '84
urquattro. Dealer List price on a new one was $1190. A local wrench here
in Denver usually swaps the used part for a rebuilt unit through Worldpac or
somebdy, price at about $165. Or they will rebuild your actual part for
same price. I ended up having to have my shaft rebuilt. One day
turnaround, $165. Not sure why you need one, but it might be best to just
try buying a used one. I'm sure there are plenty of used ones available
with plenty of life left.
