[A4] Groaning from Steering

You should never turn the steering wheel to full lock in any car.  The
car is telling you to knock it off. :-)

I recently purchased a '98 1.8T A4 Quattro. When i twist the steering
wheel
to its extreme, either way. i hear a groan/low squeak. Is something
sick
under there or does it just need grease/oil ?
