Hi all.. I'm relatively new to the list, and first off want to thank everyone for the all the information I've been able to gather from the archives and faq's of this site. In fact, the DIYs for timing belt replacement on my 1998 A4 avant (V6 -30V 122k) looked so complete I tackled it and the water pump last weekend. (Had a leak and was running hot). The timing belt was replaced at 90k by the dealer and they did not do the water pump..... go figure?? Anyway, I ended up replacing thermostat, both belts, tensioner, tensioner roller, idler, accessory belt tensioner, fan thermoswitch, and water pump. Everything seemed to go well, and once back together the temperature goes no higher than half way on the guage. HOWEVER.... I seem to have developed a rather serious oil leak. I can't see exactly where it is coming from, but it looks like it may be from near the front of the engine, then drips down the front and side (driver's) of the oil pan. Anyone have any idea where this leak may
be coming from and what i may have done to cause it? Thanks!

Jess
