i have a similar setup, but it cost more. basically i wanted to
have my stock ECU never be modded, so i could bring a "stock" car to the
dealer and not worry about warranty issues. my chip is in a second ECU.
it was $1100 at the time, instead of $700, but it's been well worth it.
