[A4] Oil Break In....

Yes, the dash went nuts, showed a big red oil can with a slash through it.
No, the engine did not blow up as I was fortunately pulling into my drive
and was able to immediately shut down the engine and coast in.  I checked
under the car and in the engine bay - no visible oil leakage anywhere.

 

I must admit that I now have vastly improved fuel mileage, along with better
power and smoother running of my engine.  Quite interesting changes.

Did your oil pressure warning light come on? 
Did the engine blown up?
