[A4] life of the stock OEM battery

I was just about to write the same thing - one day
fine, the next day dead (as in, stranded at a gas
station after filling the tank).  Couldn't figure it
out until the dealer told me that I needed a battery -
ever since then, no problems.  Good dealership shop.
