[A4] Power Steering Groaning

Hey all,

Now that it's getting colder I am noticing a groan from the power steering.
I don't know if it's specifically because it's cold but it seems to be worse
when I first start out and seems to get better the longer I drive. It's not
anything really noisy and doesn't sound expensive <I hope!> but it does tend
to send vibrations through the steering wheel and makes me feel
apprehensive.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any tips? I haven't even had a
chance to check the fluid yet but I thought I would ask anyway. :)
