Richard, you have to use the correct fluid, and if I remember
correctly it's made by Pentosin CHF11 or something. It's not that
expensive, so buy the right stuff from the dealer as putting the wrong
kind in will probably only exacerbate any problem. My car developed
the same very slow leak and had to be topped up every one or two
months. Eventually the steering rack was replaced under the Assured
Warranty..hopefully, this isn't the case with your car!!
