Not sure why everyone calls it the snub mount, it's just the front 
engine mount.   Commonly replaced with a stiffer unit when replacing 
the timing belt. (since everything is apart anyway.)    It does make 
a huge difference in how the car feels when shifting and 
accelerating/decelerating.    I was getting a lot of driveline clunk 
in the car that drove me nuts (when I first bought it in 02 with 47k 
on it)   New mount fixed it right up.
