[A4] New car considerations

Word of advice on the Saab:  I had a few Saabs for over 10yrs each.  I
didn't buy yet another Saab partially because of the part prices.  Example:
bad coil . . . a new ignition coil came integrated with some other
electronics on a mounting plate ~ $320 internet.  Coils on the A4 are $35 x
4pcs.  Everything was like that: $$$.  Maybe it's better now with the GM
parts bin.  And the handling rivaled the A4 (until you start powersliding
thru a turn, then the Quattro really shines).

Re: the A3, Audi has positioned it as a 'premium' small car - meaning it
ain't cheap! The SAAB story (sorry, couldn't resist!) is that they have
the GM Employee Pricing deal but only until Monday, 9/6 (I think). So you
can probably get a decent deal on a SAAB. They have a new Turbo V6 that
sounds pretty sweet.
