[A4] Brakes & Overheating problem

Also, to check your fan operation, start the car, turn the A/C on and open
the hood. The engine fan should be spinning very fast sucking lots of
through the radiator. If it doesn't, it could be a number of things
including electronic failure of some type or the viscus coupling (listed
below).

Just a word of caution: never, ever stick your hand in the engine fan of any
car whether it's on or not!! These eclectic fans can come on with no notice
even without the key in the ignition!
