[A4] New 1.8T Owner!!!

Actually, I may have an APR chip which should work just fine in a '99
for sale soon. I am considering a new GTI, and unless someone is
interested in buying my A4 ('98.5 A4 1.8T Quattro, Tip, Sport) I will
probably trade it in -- I am asking $4000 for the A4 as-is, because it
will likely need the ABS controller replaced to pass inspection. Aside
from the ABS controller and high mileage (150,000), the car is in
excellent condition, has been religiously maintained, hardly uses any
oil (1/4 of a quart over 5000 miles). Anyone local to the Washington
D.C./Baltimore area who may be interested is welcome to come see the car.

If the chip becomes available I'll let you know. It is installed in a
spare ECU, which would be sold along with the chip, so it would be 100%
plug and play (and I do mean play!). The chip would be sold with the
ECU, although I haven't decided on a price yet. I also have a remote
switch for it so that you can switch between programs (I have stock, 91
octane, and 100 octane programs loaded -- the non-Drive-By-Wire cars
needed a hardwired switch to do this).
