[A4] oil filter

Yes Audi enlarged the A4 oil fiters in a TSB which also decreased the
oil change interval from 10K miles to 5 k miles, and mandated synthetic
oil. Purlator probably didn't bother updating their catalogs...

On another note..

Awhile ago a series of A4's that came into the dealership some time ago
with low oil pressure lights on.. All had purolator filters. Change the
filter and the light goes off. We even had a customer with a siezed
engine and a purolator filter. OEM filters are cheap insurance and
aren't that expensive.
