[A4] Returning member, timing belt questions

First or all, welcome back to the fold..

I changed the timing belt, tensioner, water pump and thermostat on my old
2000 1.8T myself with a friend using the kit from ECS tuning and the other
parts separately. I noticed that the blau kit is available in a complete
form with all the belts and the 'improved' water pump for a pretty
reasonable price and seeing if you're going to do the job and the front end
has to come off, you may as well replace everything (within reason) if you
intend to keep the car.

It looks like ECS are selling a similar kit with a lightweight pulley too.

Best of luck...and anticipate about a 5-7 hour job on your hands ;-)
