Isn't there anything in the interior that would distinguis the Sport Package? For example, the B6 A4 with Sport Package also had aluminum trim in the interior instead of fiberglass..... Plenty of guys have switched wheels over the years so not sure you could use that as a guide. Unless you could get 2 cars side by side, doing a 'gap' comparison would be tough too.
Here's an A4 with Celebration package, to me doesn't look like it has ther Sport Package, based on the wheel gap -

Here is what Audiworld lists as the Sport Package contents for a 2001 -
Sport Package: Sport suspension, 7-spoke 7J x 16 sport wheels, 205/55 16 high performance tires, 3-spoke leather covered sport steering wheel (w/ Tiptronic controls with automatic transmission)
Also, take a look here, he lists out what's in the Celebration package -

To me, it appears that a car with the Celebration Package could also have the Sport Package. This is why I always save the window sticker, so I can show exactly what the car has.

Found a guy with an 01.5 with"Celebration" package, and am wondering if this means it hasa sport suspension. Otherwise, how does one tell if a B5 hassport? 16" 7-spoke wheels vs. 15" 8-spoke? Or does it varyby year? Thanks,Stephen
