[A4] To change or Not to change all four tires

Key point is to buy same size/rating. Tread wear
differences between same size tires should not have
much, if any, effect. Perhaps same effect as tire
presure differentials between tires.
Secondary point is tread design. Theoretically, if
you are driving them to their limits, the different
design will react differently, and this could lead to
unexpected handling differences/reactions.
Replacing two will be fine, but you should do
everything possible to buy same size/rating. Of
course, it would be best to buy four, but we are not
all financially able to do so when one tire blows and
can't be repaired.
Good luck.
