Depends on how deep the scratch is. If it hasn't reached the base coat
(the color part) then you can probably just buff it out. If it has
reached the color coat or primer the panel will have to be resprayed,
or you can try and use some touch up paint to fill in the scratch. If
the scratch has gone through the primer, then it needs to be sprayed
ASAP, as corrosion can set in.
