[A4] Signal lights and Emergency lights

I'm not very auto repair savvy so I'm hoping my problem is not a big one! 
   
  I have a '98 A4 Quattro with about 125K miles. Last night my turn signals and emergency lights stopped working. By stopped working I mean that when I put on my turn signals, nothing happens. The lights don't turn on at all. The same for the emergency lights. I checked the fuses this morning and all seems fine there.
