brandon - it sounds like your s4 needs work. if it's a good solid car i'd
sort it out, then throw a few minor mods on it and call it a day. the s4's
ive been in definitely ride nicer then the a4's ive been in overall and have
a really nice solid feel to them that the a4 lacks [since it's lighter im
sure]. it sounds like someone needs control arms?

same with the shifter - get a dieselgeek or a b+m and redo the bushings,
should get that butter shift feel back. it shouldnt feel less good than an
a4.

the a4 can be upgraded with s4 parts [lights, body, etc]. i just got a set
of s4 hid housings for 200 and the bulbs/ballasts [new] sell for about 200.
cheap for a legit hid upgrade.

but youre right that at that altitude it would be tough to get an a4 to be
as driveable as an s4. the s4 with a chip, exhaust, and minor intake / brake
/ suspension mods is a killer car.
