[A4] Sludge Problem

An Audi field service engineer from the Auburn Hills, MI Tech center told me 
recently that Audi and VW are still monitoring the 1.8l turbo sludge problem 
because the synthetic oil fix is not working 100%. He said that clogged inlet 
oil screens are still possible with synthetic oil under some conditions. In his 
opinion the problem is still too long a recommended oil change interval 
combined with the high heat of the 1.8l turbo and certain oil specifications.
