[A4] Need for Premium Gas in 1.8T quattro?

I am finding out right now about regular in my car - my wife filled it  with regular yesterday by accident! So far no issues after about 40  miles. I have used mid-grade in the past (I sometimes do 1 tank of  mid-grade to 2 of premium) with no issues and the same performance and  mileage. Most of my driving is around town.

Is the same the case the 1.8 turbo, or do I need to be buying premium gas?
