[A4] rear shouck mount question

hi all - so i'm most of the way through a suspension r+r on the a4 and ran
into a hitch on the rear shox. i'm hoping for a little BTDT. the top of the
shock mounts to a plate that is bolted to the car w/ 4 bolts and threaded
inserts [i assume] aka no nuts. the lower right hand bolt of that plate
spins but wont back out.

do i have a broken insert or what? is it sawsall time? bummer if so.. anyone
know a way to get behind the insert/nut? looks like it's in the frame rail,
and i really dont want to drill or cut into it.
