[A4] Front tire *thump* & brake pads

Sounds plausible.  It may be the sytle of lugnut (tapered or shank)
is wrong, or they weren't torqued enough, and that lets the wheel
feel tight when you move it by hand, but lets it move under the
weight of a 2-ton car.
