[A4] 16806 cat issues?

that's awesome bro, glad i could help, i had the same thing happen to my a4  
sooooooo it kinda sounded  like familiar issues! I'm about to start my  clutch 
swap in the S4 tonight, "which is going to suck like holy hell"
ive  been missing boost for at least 6 months with the old clutch slipping, 
sux  getting pass'd by evo's and wrx's and v8s that want to play :o( 
 
you shoulda emailed the list! if you take the passenger front wheel off its  
pretty ez to swap out the cat and get to the bolts, then you use about 3  
extensions  with a swivel on the other 1 bolt that's kinda  hidden,
 
anyways enjoy your missing boost, bet it feels like a new car now huh?  lol   

Hey  all.....just thought I would report back.....

I unbolted the cat from  the turbo, and pulled it back, took it around 
the block...(holly hell it  is loud).....the thing would boost like 
mad!   Well when it  wasn't bucking or sputtering (prolly due to the O2 
not being in the stream  of the exhaust).  Anyways, so I just got my 
Techtonics High Flow Cat  installed which was a big PITA to do...and of 
coarse the 2nd O2 sensor  didn't come out....so I need to buy a new one 
of those.  ANYWAYS, the  car is back to life!!  A nice deep growl, spikes 
of  21psi....yeah!  The old cat...was pretty much plugged...the mass of  
honey comb inside had come loose and lodged itself at the exit...real  
great for flow huh??!  :D
