[A4] Catalytic Converter - Denver

ref: A4 2002, 1.8MT, 128,000 miles

Can anyone recommend a reputable mechanic in the
Denver area to install a catalytic converter?  The
dealership quoted $1300 to replace.  I am betting I
can buy one myself and have installed for half that? 
Any advice?
