[A4] a/c condenser replacement

I'm pretty sure you can't do something like this yourself. This requires
you to open the A/C system, and to do that (properly) you need to
evacuate/recover the freon. Once you get it fixed you have to recharge the
system. The equipment required is quite expensive and I'm not sure you can
do it with just a set of gauges anymore - at least not on the more complex
cars (i.e. Audi).

However, an independent shop should be able to do this for less than the
dealer. Are you talking the condenser under the dash or the evaporator near
the radiator? Anytime you work with the dash it's going to be
"complicated". Your right, this sorta sucks. :(
