[A4] Suction/Purge Valve and oil smells/leaks?

Reading through stuff at Audiworld, it appears it's a pretty common problem.
Mechanism would be PCV system getting blocked creating excessive pressure
in the engine (crankcase/head/etc). The seals seems to be the weak link
where this pressure is vented from...leading to pressure venting co-mingled
with oil.

While the seals can become more permanently damaged, many seem to have found
freeing up the vent system stops the oil leaks. I'd give a link to what I
was looking at, but Audiworlds web addresses aren't set up for easy linking.
I did a search of the 30vV6 forum using "suction pump" as the search term.

Anyhow, getting ready to order the part from SJM.
