[A4] A quiet list?

The B5 door lock pump is a known failure item.  I got a used one for
$100.  Unfortunately its not just plug n play - it has to be coded to
the ECU or something like that.  I should qualify that - that was on my
'01 S4 but I don't know why the A4 would be any different.  Overall my
A4 ('98 1.8Tqm) was very reliable.

Finally got a new car, and after a long time with the 200, and  
hanging around that list thought I'd check over this way.  The new  
car is a 99 A4 w/the V6 and sport package.  Looking through the list  
archives though, it does look like things are a little slow over this  
side.

So I guess this in my introduction, and depending what kind of  
response maybe it'll follow on with troubleshooting my first  
problem...the power door lock pump.  Been spending some time at  
Audiworld's forums with mixed results.
