If you don't want to purchase a new remote from the $tealer, you can look on ebay. Went mine went in the drink and I purchased on on ebay and it worked fine. You've got to search the web for the instructions on how to reprogram the remote (it is not contained in the user manual).

one of my B5 remotes got ruined from water exposure as well.
there was no fix, just the option to replace for several
hundred dollars. needless to say, we're more careful with
our B7 keys.
ziplock bags are no good for sports. you'll want to get
special river bags, or plastic boxes, from somewhere like
REI. the little ones, designed for cigs or your cell phone
or your weed stash, are great for thinks like wee electronics.
