hehe funny bro! 

yeah it is bad on the car to vent because it creates a rich condition after 
every shift, it might take a couple months or a year to show up, carbon build 
up maybe, fouled plugs etc what have you..   

have you log'd you car vented with vagcom? i cant remember if you can log the 
a4 like the s4, i no longer have my a4 and have a S now,  anyways it will 
tell you what your 02's are doing
