[A4] broken rear spring

While replacing the rear caliper on my 2001 A4tq with sport
suspension, I heard the sound of steel hitting the concrete floor.  It
was the top loop of the rear coil spring and from looking at the
rusted face of the broken piece it had been broken for a while.

I don't suppose Audi has a hidden warranty for springs....

Any chance anyone on the list has a spare one from a parts car or from
swapping out the OEM springs for something else?

ps If you ever change rear calipers including the pad carriers, be
super careful that you don't strip out the heads of the carrier bolts
(allen-headed cap screws).  I rounded out the head of one of them and
am part way through grinding the head off ......not fun.
