[A4] Gas "Gauge"

I have no answer for that except to say I've got the "classic computer display" problem.
That was my only cluster problem until this cropped up. I do remember speedo issues and warning lights
were problems on the T44 cluster. Usually bad solders or dirty connections. Related? Besides being in
and Audi, I don't know.
Either case, not a big fan of the issues, especially replacing a high-cost item that may just be prone to
failure.
As time allows, I'll peruse the FAQ at Audiworld. If an informative
nugget pops up, I'll report back.

Just how flaky are the clusters? If I replace mine, if/when will it
screw up again? Mine's had problems for a long time:
- classic screwed up computer display in the center
- Air Bag warning light likes to flash randomly (I've never been able
to actually pull an airbag code from the airbag controller ot the
instrument cluster, so I presume the fault lies in the cluster
somewhere.
- Speedometer occasionally jomps a few MPH and immediately settles
back to the correct speed. Never tried to diagnose this, so it may be
a transient condition in the speedometer sensor, or on the CAN bus.
