[A4] Windshield Washer Pump - Blowing Fuses

Any thoughts on why my WW washer pump is blowing fuses? We had some icy snow here Friday and when my son took the
car to go snowboarding on Saturday, he called to say that the washers weren't working. The washers are under the lip of the hood
and very difficult to get to to clear the holes with a pin, however the area under the lip was cleared of snow and ice. I pulled the
fuse this am and it was shot. Purchased new ones from my FLAPS and it proceeded to blow them. You can give it a quick
squirt safely, but if you hold it for say 5 or 6 seconds, the fuse blows and the pump stops.
