Either our '97 A4 2.8q doesn't have it or it's never worked.  If we're
behind someone that is spewing out junk, we have to manually reach for the
recirculation button.  However, in a certain temperature band the CC won't
let us turn on recirc, something like 20F to 35F.  But, if we manually hold
down the recirc button it will recirc.  Annoying.
