Really? I have no idea what Synthetic you are buying, but typically a  
Gallon of Mobil 1 retail, costs me $35 CDN (current deal includes an  
extra free litre of the same). It's less when it's on sale, and even  
less if you buy it in a container larger than shelf stock. These  
prices have gone up a bit over last year, but not much.
