[A4] A4 Digest, Vol 53, Issue 16

Guys, all of this is fascinating, but in no way helpful in
troubleshooting as to why my Cruise Control does not work. A few months
ago when I asked, I was told, "Get Vag-Com". Now that I have it, are you
guys telling me that the CC system is stand-alone and has no diagnostic?

That was sarcasm hence the provided definition for my application of the
term.

On the lingering throttle trivia, I've got the good old fashioned cable
on my car.  It's a 99.5 w/V6.  Found the drive-by-wire (electronic)
system to be really unsatisfying when I was test driving other cars in
conjunction with my vehicle purchase.
