Hi Robert,

You had replied to just me, not the mail list, so I cc'd it to this reply.

I would first recommend that you open all the doors, put the speaker balance 
(front back) on neutral, play some musinc that usually causes the offencive 
buzz, then run around the whole car putting your ear up to each individual 
speaker to identify the offending speaker(s).
Then, remove the speaker(s).

If you prefer to tinker with things rather than replace, here is you 
opportunity.

If not:
If the speaker looks like a standard 4 point mount system, take it to your 
local speaker store and go on their recommendation is probably the cheapest 
and quickest method.
If it is a weird non-standard three point mounting system like mine is, then 
you either need to get it fixed, buy a new one (probably from Audi) or buy a 
smaller standard speaker and make a mounting.

If it is a buzzing, it is also possible that it isn't the speakers fault, but 
electrical noise being pumped into it.  I dodgily wired my speaker into my 
computer for testing. A similar technique should be able to confirm, 
eliminate this possibility.
