I instruct for a high-performance driving school at Texas World Speedway.
Last fall, one of my instructor friends got a student with a brand-new R8.
A very, very nice car.  Easily the fastest street car at the event, and very
easy to drive very fast.

In my race car (a fully-prepped Mustang running in American Iron) there's
one particular corner that I take at about 105-110 (Turn 7, for those that
may know the track.)  Most students in hot street cars are taking it at
about 70-75.

The R8, with a novice driver was taking it at 110.  Very impressive.
