[A4] Trials and tribulations of owning 3 Audis

I had a similar event on Monday. Had dropped off the Honda Odyssey at the dealer to get the A/C fixed, my son drove his Impreza
to school, and my wife drove the A4 to work, intending to drop off my other son at the bus station on the way. She calls from the road
to say that the final coil pack went (we are familiar with the symptoms by now!), so she circled back around to get me, we drove to
the HS to get my sons car, she took that to work and I took the A4 right to the shop.

The evening was sort of the reverse of the morning!

When it rains it pours.... I am debating about eventually getting a
coupe quattro as a "toy" one of these days, but can only imagine what
would happen if the A4 Avant acts up, and the coupe decides to follow
suit.  Isn't the adage, misery loves company?
