[A4] F/S: Low mileage 2000 1.8 TQM Avant

Longtime lurker, infrequent poster.

We've decided to buy a new (to us) Audi, so I'm reluctantly selling my 2000
A4 Avant 1.8TQ. Before trading it into the dealer, I figured I'd offer for
sale to Audifans listers in the Boston area.

I am the original owner. Only 76,000 miles. Never been modded. 5 speed
manual transmision. Silver with gray leatherette interior. Heated front
seats, auto-dimming mirrors, Homelink system, climate control. Body is in
"good" condition (the usual dings/scratches for a 10 year old car). Never
been in an accident. I've religiously changed the oil every 3-4000 miles
always using a Mann oil filter. Recent work (past 6-12 months) includes rear
brakes, front and rear wheel bearings, a power steering fluid flush and an
A/C recharge.  I have all service records for the life of the car.

Bonuses include a 2nd set of steel wheels with Blizzak snow tires (currently
mounted on the car) and relatively new summer tires (Yokohamas with less
than 15,000 miles) mounted on the original 15" factory alloys.  Work that
needs to be done includes replacilng the ABS module (it just started to fail
this week) and replacing the timing belt/water pump. The steering wheel is
also squeaky (an interior noise) - I think it just needs a new bushing.

I will also include an extra Symphony radio/CD head unit that I purchased
off ebay a few years ago with the intention of replacing the original head
unit (that one has the dreaded "ERR1" problem with the CD player). The
seller neglected to tell me that the new head unit is pre-programed for the
Bose speaker system, so it only powers the rear speakers in my car (the CD
player works fine - I tested it in the car). I've been told this new head
unit can be re-programmed to work with a non-Bose speaker system, but I
never got around to doing it.

This would be a great car for an enthusiast to mod. It's solid, and just
needs work/maintenance that would be expected for a 10 year old Audi.
