[A4] Clutch replacement

Richard, when you say that you still have a good bite to the clutch, have
you tried putting it in 5th and flooring it on the freeway...I first noticed
my clutch going out when it couldn't handle max torque and the revs would
rise without increase in road speed. If your pedal is going soft, then it
may be you have a leaky master cylinder?
Just thinking out loud here..
I recently had a clutch replaced on my B7. The kit cost about 500 bucks (DXD
Stage II) and installation at the dealer was about 800 bucks (I had some
other things done at the time, but the bulk of the labor was the clutch
replacement).
