[A4] Good and Bad Years of B5 quattros?

Although there is some truth to the statement of "the later the better", but the fact is: the better the car was maintained, the longer it will last with fewer issues. Regardless, get all cars of this age checked over by a mechanic who knows these cars really well. He will be able to identify how well it was cared for.
Good luck, I have had a '98 1.8T, '99 2.8, currently my wife is driving a 2000 A4Q 1.8T with Sport Suspension. They were all fantastic. Not to mention I am currently driving a 2000 A6 4.2 Sport Suspension, Wide Body, Ming Blue. Now that is a dream machine!
