skip the Krap + Nonsense. oil fcks up the maf. dry filter ftw. audi
actually makes one that works pretty well... said capt obvious.
first code is coilpacks [easy fix, very common failure], second code is
probably maf, you can try cleaning it with maf specific cleaner. the good
news is there's tons of support.
these cars also eat egt and o2 sensors, which are a nightmare to replace.
egt's can be coded out of the ecu with no real ill effect. if your egt
throws a code, you're already fucked.
once you get it sorted an ecu flash really wakes them up. probably worth
having the intake tract pressure tested, leak and compression done if you
plan to put time / money into it. turbos, headgaskets, and other major
failures will probably be write offs unless you love 4 digit repair bills
and/or weeks of garage time.
good luck
jim [left the audi fold a few years ago for an sti, now on an 06 evo, never
going back].
